Hello Stranger

i'm home for a week :)

and i'm pretty much just going to sit around and do nothing...

i deserve it.

so here i am. back at school. i've actually been here for about 3 weeks...but that's ok.

classes are going pretty well: fine arts, modern US history, lit, education, and ethics. lots of reading right now, but i know the writing is coming...

the guys are good, except DJ didn't come back :( we hang out, watch movies, eat junk food, etc. celia and i have our girly moments. colton and i are still...well, colton and i :) i moved into mehling, so now i'm closer to my friends and i have a lot more room.

so yeah, i'm having a good time.

so yeah...it's been awhile...i guess it's time for an update:

bryan and i are not together anymore. we're still really close and chat over facebook every couple of days, but, for now, we are just doing our own thing. actually it doesn't feel much different - it seems like the only thing we lost was the title of being "a couple." i mean, i miss him, but i know that i'll be seeing him in a month and we'll hang out like we always did. who knows what will happen once school starts again.

i went to ireland for about 9 days. we stayed in shannon, killarney, and dublin and saw things all around and in between. it was a great trip and i had a fantastic time! ireland is amazing ♥ very green and lots of pubs, sheep, stout, and tea.

i still work 3 days a week and do yoga twice a week. it seems like everyone wants to hang out all of a sudden, so i've been seeing some friends. kadee has been down from bellingham and we've spent a lot of time together - seattle, ikea, more seattle :) and mitch is coming in august! i haven't seen him since 8th grade! i'm very excited!

i guess that's pretty much it...i'm ready to go back to school. summer has been nice, but it's not like it was in MS/HS. everyone is so busy and my friends from school are so spread out. i miss them and i miss UP.

i guess i haven't updated in awhile.

not much has been going - i've just been working 3 days a week and relaxing/hanging out.

bryan came to visit wednesday evening through friday morning. we were pretty much all over the place - alki, pike place market, ye olde curiosity shoppe, xxx rootbeer, boehm's chocolate, misha's house, downtown belleve. it was great to see each other and we had a lot of fun ♥

so yeah...i'm pretty much back to the same ol' same ol'

and i'm going to ireland in about 2 weeks :)

this weekend was really nice.

i ended up going to bellingham yesterday to visit kadee @ western. she lives in a house with 3 other people, but everyone was gone for the weekend. it was just her and greg (who also came up to visit.) i got to see charlie and i met kadee's bf russ. it was nice - we sat outside for a while, then watched a couple movies. in the morning, greg made us crepes which were quite tasty :) then we went downtown for a bit and got ice cream before greg and i headed back to bellevue :) i hadn't seen kadee since winter break so it was great to see her and spend time with her. and i love all of her birds! and her pet rat ♥

i want a pet rat now...

anyway, i think i'm going to work out tomorrow.

work's pretty good. i closed by myself tonight.

bryan can't come visit this weekend because he has to work :( it's ok. i still talk to him and i'll see him for sure in august.

i've been thinking a lot about jim and his dad. i hope they find him and he's ok.

day #2 of work tomorrow.

i have to say, not much has changed. i mean, there are new people, some have moved around, and some have left, but it's basically the same.

i enjoy it :)

today i had lunch with my mom and then, this evening, we took our spastic dog to bellevue's downtown park. i ♥ my dog (she's curled, or rather, squeezed in next to me right now)

oh, and i really like/miss my bf.

so i spent some time with my mom today.

i got a new swimsuit.

i got bright eyes "cassadaga" and elliot smith "new moon"

all three are pretty damn amazing ^^

and tonite, i'm going to dinner with my parents, my grandma, and my aunt. i know already that i'm going to eat way too much, but it will totally be worth it.

o, and i start work tomorrow!

this first week of summer is going by really slowly...

i just want to start working already!

it probably doesn't help that most of my friends are still in school. that doesn't leave a whole lot of people to hang out with...

but i think i'm going to see ilana and dave at some point soon.

i miss my college friends and bryan :(

so today, i basically cleaned out my closet and drawers in my bedroom and bathroom. i threw a bunch of stuff away and donated my clothes to goodwill. i have room again! yes!

anyway, now i get to start unpacking tomorrow...ugh...

and i start work next monday! i'm pretty excited ^^

so i'm home now for the summer! hoorah!

and i'm going to see spiderman 3 today!

i really like to read. the funny thing is, it hasn't always been that way. it pretty much just started at the beginning of this semester.

i just bought 3 news books!

hooray!

so today i started cleaning my desk and its drawers. i also decided to take out the trash. let the packing begin! i can't believe the year is almost over...

bryan dropped by while i was taking a nap. it was a nice surprise :) i'm really going to miss him over the summer.

i finished "white oleander" and now i'm reading "how to be good" by nick hornby. it's pretty hilarious so far ^^

only 2 more weeks of school. i can't believe i'm almost done with my first year of college. crazy.

i'm pretty excited for summer. here's what i know so far:

- working at my dad's law firm again (3 days a week)
- bryan might come and visit over memorial day weekend
- going to ireland from june 30 - july 8
- bryan's sister's wedding in spokane on august 3
- sunshine, friends, and fun

so yeah, i'm ready to go.

i love weekends.

and pictures.

and food.

and sleeping.

and friends.

i like to shop way too much.

i'm hanging out with anastasia tonite. so yeah - pretty excited about that as well ^^

so i'm currently stuck on the train in centralia. we should be moving again shortly, but we've been sitting here forever! o wait...yep...we're moving! hoorah!

apparently there was a bomb-like device at the ferry terminal in steilacoom and since the tracks go right past the terminal, we had to stop.

it wasn't even a bomb. lame.

i'm looking forward to getting home, taking a shower, eating, and going to bed.

i'm coming home on thursday for easter weekend. it's weird because it feels like i was just home for spring break...o well.

bryan makes me really happy. we're together, but we can be apart. it's nice to finally have found a good guy ^^

i'm now reading "white oleander." it's really good so far. pretty intense. i like it.
